Charles S. Zwerling, MD
Founder and Past President
Dr. Charles “Chip” Zwerling is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, author of three textbooks on Micropigmentation, and visionary in the field of micropigmentation. He is a pioneer in eyeliner tattooing. Dr. Zwerling created of the American Academy of Micropigmentation in 1992.
Linda Dixon, MD
Past President, 1998 - 2017
Dr. Dixon, both a Dental Hygienist and physician specializing in Anesthesiology, graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1972. A pioneer in permanent makeup, her journey began in 1979 when she had her eyeliner tattooed—an experience that inspired her to develop pain control methods for the procedure in the mid-90s.
Practicing permanent makeup since 1995, Dr. Dixon introduced the revolutionary Dixon Technique, known for creating rich lip color, hair-like eyebrow strokes, and smoky eyeliner with improved results. Board Certified in 1996 by the Academy of Micropigmentation, she also served as its President and has educated professionals worldwide.
Rose Marie Beauchemin-Verzella

Rose Marie Beauchemin-Verzella, founder of Beau Institute, is an internationally recognized expert in permanent cosmetics, microblading, areola tattooing, and camouflage with over 22 years of experience as a practitioner, trainer, and speaker. Known as “The Brow Doctor” for her ability to craft natural, hair-simulated eyebrows, Rose Marie has extensive training in facial morphology, paramedical cosmetics, and color theory.
As an instructor, she is renowned for her patient, thorough teaching style, helping trainees worldwide build successful careers. Her certifications include former President of the AAM, Certified Instructor (CMI), and CPCP by the SPCP. She co-authored Micropigmentation Millennium and has been featured as an expert in Micropigmentation: State of the Art. Rose Marie frequently contributes to industry publications and played a key role in developing New Jersey’s permanent makeup regulations.
Her media appearances include a Fox News special, and she has received numerous accolades, including South Jersey’s “Super Woman” Award and “Best of the Best.”

Sheila Reusch (Bella) is the CEO of Sheila Bella Corp, Founder of the Pretty Ambitious Summit, Creator of the Top 100 Podcast, Pretty Rich Podcast, and Business Coach and Global Speaker for the beauty industry.
With the combination of an early fascination with the concept of beauty, a disciplined desire for entrepreneurship, and an intrigue with the power of personal connection, Sheila has created a personal brand with the mission of sharing her knowledge with the entire PMU Community.
At one time, she was known by many as the celebrated PMU artist to the stars, Sheila Bella is a versatile entrepreneur in the industry. Her audience is captivated by her keen business sense and flair for entertainment.
